Following the departure of Brian Cute as President and CEO, Public Interest Registry has begun a formal search for a replacement. Until that time all matters for the CEO should be redirected to our Board Director, Jay Daley.
Elizabeth Behsudi – Vice President and General Counsel
Liz brings nearly two decades of experience as a commercial litigator and problem solver. Prior to joining Public Interest Registry, she represented large, small and medium business, as well as individuals in federal and state courts throughout the country in complex commercial cases involving antitrust, banking, employment, securities, and IP related issues. Liz is a former delegate to the Virginia State Bar for the 19th Judicial Circuit and a devoted advocate for integrity and civility in the legal profession.
Paul Diaz – Vice President, Policy
Paul brings nearly two decades of policy development and analysis experience to the Public Interest Registry policy team. Prior to joining Public Interest Registry he spent over 12 years as Senior Policy Manager for Network Solutions, where he led policy development and compliance initiatives that impacted the company’s corporate objectives as they related to new TLDs, ICANN consensus policies and industry regulations. During his tenure, Paul was also instrumental in acting as the company’s voice of governmental advocacy through presenting various issues to Congress and Executive branch agencies.
Kathy King – Vice President, Finance
Kathy leads the Finance, Accounting, Information Technology and Business Intelligence teams and brings more than 20 years of broad-based and progressively responsible experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting & forecasting and accounting operations in the non-profit sector to Public Interest Registry. Throughout her career, she was instrumental in creating effective strategies, tools and processes to grow the financial statements, strengthen internal controls, mitigate risk and enhance the overall customer experience. Prior to joining Public Interest Registry, Kathy held various finance roles at the American Association for Motor Vehicle Administrators and Smithsonian Business Ventures.
